Spring is springing at our house, finally! Our first flowers!

Week 16 and a baby's heart beat

So we had our 16 week appointment with the doctor today.  We got to hear the heart beat for the second time and we were ready with the camera, although it took two tries to actually get it recorded (operator error, not trouble with the heart beat).  It's really fast, at about 160 beats per minutes.  Oh, and the angle on my exposed belly makes it look huge!  Do not be alarmed, my belly is not really that.  I fact, do me a favor and watch the video with your eyes closed.  I have gained a normal amount of weight but this video makes the belly bump look larger than life!  Everything is progressing normally and looking good, baby is doing well!

Massachusetts in winter is cold but very beautiful!  The tail end of my business trip has been a plant visit to a vendor outside of Boston. The plant tour and all of the people were great.  Today we head in to the city before we fly home tomorrow.  Hotels and restaurants are great but I miss my husband and my fur babies.

This, the Charlotte Convention Center and the Blake Hotel are all I saw of Charlotte when my boss and I attended Informex earlier this week.

Boom Shaka Laka!

Our good friends Matt and Candace graciously took Jason and me to the Blazer game last night for Jason's birthday!!!  We had a blast, in large part because the Blazers beat the Spurs.  Also, the popcorn, soft pretzel and frozen yogurt were really good too!
