Cool baby stuff

Every since I found out I was pregnant I've been trolling the internet for cute baby decor, storage items, clothes, etc.  Of course there is a ridiculous amount of adorable baby stuff out there and I can't have it all but I thought I'd share some of my finds.

Pearhead is a fun website with cute baby memorabilia and decor.  I actually got this wooden bank at Baby's R Us before Max was born, not realizing how many other cute things Pearhead makes.  They also have an adorable growth chart I'm eyeballing.  I want to get a growth chart for Max's room by the time he's 6 months old and I want one that is canvas or cloth of some kind so we can take it with us if we move.  This cute blue one fits the bill and is definitely in the running.  I don't know why, but I've discovered I'm obsessed with giraffes when it comes to Max and his stuff.  I counted all of this giraffe paraphernalia and I think the last count was at 9 giraffe stuffed animals (including this four foot tall giraffe courtesy of Gigi), toys and room decor items.

3 Sprouts has some adorable eco-friendly storage options like bins, caddies and wall organizers.  I'm particularly digging this beaver caddy, this alligator wall organizer and this zebra storage bin.

Skip Hop has some great items for both parents and kids.  Max has these fun bath ducks and we're already using them in his nightly baths.  I also really like the back packs and insulated lunch bags, for when Max hits school age.

Crate and Barrel has a baby store called Land of Nod with lots of high end goodies.  I really like these blankies by Angel Dear, although there is an even bigger selection of animals and colors on Angel Dear's website.  I've been advised that having multiples of a lovie of this kind can be critical if baby develops a bedtime dependance.

I've also seen lots of cool stuff on Etsy.  In fact, I'm jumping on the tissue paper pom pom bandwagon.  I ordered a set of five from a nice lady in Portland in light blue, white and chocolate to hang in one corner of the nursery.  Wait a minute, I've just realized I haven't posted any nursery pictures.  All you've seen so far is a the painting pics that were lumped in with the floor renovations.  Well, that will be remedied shortly, I can assure you.  The main elements (crib, bookshelf, rug, dresser, glider, stuffed animals and alphabet wall art) were in place before Max's birth but since thenI've been adding more details to really tie the room together.  I'll post the original pics from when my parents came down to help us get everything assembled (we have been photographing almost everything, even if I can't find the time to share) and some new photos with the more recent elements and additions.
